I grew up in the Fruit Belt of Southwest Michigan — a village with a population of about 1,000. Sam relentlessly did not believe me until I took him there. There is a farm directly in front of my jr high (and kiddy corner from my high school) where we’d buy a lot of our produce.
So while in San Francisco he went to an event for Epicenter who acts as a satellite office for Habitat for Humanity to help build homes in rural Utah. When he handed me this bag last night I squealed with love and admiration for my hometown.
Oh and there is a tag on this tote that says “not from the thrift store”. HA!
